TINUBU’S MINISTERIAL LIST NOT READY, DELE ALAKE DECLARES

President Tinubu’s spokesperson, Dele Alake has declared that ministerial list is not ready yet.  Therefore, the present list in circulation is a rumour and should be ignored.

Presidential spokesperson Dele Alake said this while addressing reporters in Abuja on Thursday.

“There is no iota of truth in all of those things,” Mr Alake said of the rumours surrounding the ministerial list.

Alake’s comments emphasized that the ministerial list is the prerogative power of the president who already has the list on his table and already working it and such will be made ready when it is ready.  

“When the President is good and ready, you will be the first to know about his intentions.” He informed the reporters.

Among the names being tipped for different offices and portfolios in the rumored list include Babatunde Fashola as Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, Nasir el-Rufai as FCT Minister, others include Wale Edun, Hanatu Musa, Hadiza Usman, Nyesom Wike, Gboyega Oyetola, Ibikunle Amosun, George Akume and others.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in on Monday 29th May, 2023 after he was declared the winner of the last Presidential Election, and according to law, the president is to submit his list of ministers within a month.  The reason for the high expectation which sparked the speculation of some list of ministers that have been flying about.

The truth is there will be more speculations until the final release of the said List.
