Governor Fubara has put smiles on the faces of his State workers as his government announced a N100,000 naira Christmas bonus.

This was contained in a statement released by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and communications, Hon. Warisenibo Joe Johnson which was released in the morning of Wednesday 20th December, 2023.

According to the statement signed by the Commissioner,

"Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has approved the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) as Christmas bonus for the State's civil servants on the State payroll.

"Gov. Fubara gave the approval on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.
