Allen Oyeama, the CEO of Airpeace has set the social media space buzzling with his recent comment that tends to say that things are better economically in Nigerians than in abroad.

The Airpeace boss's recent comment was suggestive of this when he says that "Anybody Earning 200K Monthly In Nigeria Is Better Than Someone That Is Earning 2000 Dollars In The UK”

Allen Onyeoma, the CEO of Air Peace, said this while answering questions on a TV program in the early hours of Thursday 28th March, 2024.

Speaking further, Oyeama emphasized despite the economic crisis and strength of the Naira which are artificial problems, Nigeria is better than many other countries.

"Go to London, if you earn two thousand pounds a month in London, you're a pauper. What two thousand pounds can afford you is like two thousand Naira." 

He then added: "The person earning two hundred thousand Naira in Nigeria is better." 

He added that with earnings of 200,000, a Nigerian can afford a maid, a driver and other domestic staff. 

He then said he believes completely that the Naira has more value than is being projected when compared to other foreign currencies. 

He thereafter advised Nigerians to stop demonetising the country, as Nigerian economy is better than that of many other countries, even in the Europe and the US.
