Ile-Ogbo street in the Ojokoro LCDA will receive dignitaries from all walks of life, especially, APC stakeholders and other politicians tomorrow Thursday 17th August, 2023 as Adelaja Family and the Ojokoro Political family holds 8th-day Fidau Prayer program in the honour of Alhaji Saibu Mohammed, an APC apex leader in the Local government.
Alhaji Saibu Adelaja, popularly known as Baba Ile-Ogbo died in the late hours of Thursday 10th August, 2023 and was buried on Friday 11th August, 2023 in his hometown, Odgbolu, Ogun State.
According to a family source, the 8th day Fidau Prayer with will be coordinated by the Chief Imam of Alausa Secretariat Central Mosque, and a former Lagos State Commissioner Alhaji AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef, and will hold in his residence, Ile-Ogbo Street, off Agbe Road, Abule-Egba, Lagos.
Baba Ile-Ogbo's political influence which goes beyond Ojokoro LCDA/Ifako-Ijaiye LG was shown in the way many political stakeholders throughout Lagos State and even in the whole of Nigeria trouped out to his residence in Ile-Ogbo and in many of condolences across many platforms. Among those that have visited his residence include Ojokoro LCDA chairman, Honourable Hammed Tijani (HID) and other political stakeholders in the LCDA; Honourable Benjamin Olabinjo (BAO), Member, Federal House of Representives, Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency as well as many others who either visited the resident or send condolent messages.
It was reported that President Tinubu who could not visit physically, sent his Chief of Staff and the former House of Representatives Speaker, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila.
Baba Ile-Ogbo no doubt had played his fatherly roles so well and he will be greatly missed in the Nigerian political space.
